Escapedive STUDENT LEARNING AGREEMENT

Welcome to your PADI training program at Escapedive!

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: The student agrees to study independently and agrees to complete the following prior to scheduling any class sessions. Students can schedule class sessions only after the following criteria are met from your eLearning program:

Watch the course videos

Read the course materials and complete the exercise questions within each section

Complete each Knowledge Review, completely answering all questions

Turn in your completed Knowledge Reviews

Ask questions about any class-related items, exercises or Knowledge Reviews not fully understood

Follow all course procedures and instructions set by Escapedive Instructional Staff

You agree to show up on time for all class, confined water training and open water training dives.

INSTRUCTOR/STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be prepared to begin the course at the scheduled time

Establish a positive and professional learning environment

Answer all student questions to the best of their ability to assist in completing all learning objectives

Assist students experiencing difficulty and accommodate reasonable learning challenges
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Your course is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Any balance due must be paid in full prior to your first-class session.
​
Open Water Course students are required to own their own Mask, Fins, Snorkel but during the first class they will learn the characteristics and even try it before buying making sure they are the right fit.
​
Escapedive has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on substance abuse or disruptive behavior. If you arrive for any training and we suspect you are under the influence or after-effects of alcohol or drugs, or are disruptive towards the class, the instructor reserves the right to remove you from the class. This will require rescheduling and incur a $150 rescheduling fee.

Any additional instructor time required as a result of the student’s unpreparedness will be charged at the rate of $30/hour
CANCELLATION POLICY:

A minimum of 48-hour cancellation notice prior to boat check-in time is required to change or cancel your reservation with no additional fees. Failure to provide a 48-hour notice will result in a $75 cancellation fee.

If you show up to your classroom session and your assigned work is not completed, you will be sent home and must reschedule your class at a later date. A $150 cancellation fee must be paid to cover the cost of the lost seat in class and to pay for the reserved spot for the class.
​
If applicable, any cancellation fee(s) must be paid prior any future class sessions will be scheduled and before any diving certification will be processed.
